TERRAMERA ACQUIRES EXOSECT CROP PROTECTION TECHNOLOGY & IP

VANCOUVER, BC – May 14, 2019 - Terramera, a leader in Technology for Clean Food, today announced the recent acquisition of a broad technology and intellectual property (IP) portfolio from Exosect Limited, covering a suite of technologies for delivering agricultural crop protection active ingredients to their intended targets. The acquired technology portfolio includes approximately 134 patents and patent applications in approximately 14 patent families.

The proprietary delivery technology platform acquired by Terramera incorporates a range of compositions that facilitate physical interactions to improve delivery of biologic and synthetic crop protection active ingredients, enhancing efficacy against a range of crop diseases and pests. Additionally, many of the delivery platform compositions are suited for use in organic agriculture.
